Samsung just announced the Galaxy Note 7, the latest and greatest Galaxy Note product on the market. It features many of the same trimmings as the Galaxy S7 Edge, which has been fantastically popular, but adds even more.

You’ll get a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and IP68 resistance against dust and water, but that’s just a start. The S Pen is more powerful than ever, with increased sensitivity for more accurate writing and drawing. You’ll also get 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage standard (expandable with a microSD card slot), a 3600mAh battery and the same great 13MP/5MP rear and front-facing cameras on the Galaxy S7.

Samsung added a few other features, though. You’ll get support for mobile HDR streaming when it finally launches, allowing you to stream the most high-quality video out there. You also get an Iris scanner, which is easy to setup and allows you to unlock the device with a quick scan of your eyeballs. The Iris scanner can also be used to protect a folder of data, including apps and other files.

The S Pen can now be used to write on the display at any moment in time, and notes can saved for viewing at any time thanks to support for the Always On Display. You won’t run into the same problems as Note 5 owners, either, since the S Pen can’t be inserted improperly this year.

There are a ton of great features here, so be sure to check out our hands-on for more information. Look to grab the Galaxy Note 7 soon, with pre-orders beginning tomorrow and in-store availability on August 19.
